I'm Sarah Mirkin RDN, CPT, LD — a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 25 years of clinical experience specializing in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and sustainable weight management. I work with Newport Beach clients virtually, delivering the same expert, personalized care you'd expect from a Beverly Hills practice — from the convenience of your home.

Most people with chronic digestive issues have spent years managing symptoms rather than resolving them. I take a different approach — identifying the root cause and addressing it directly.
Up to 80% of people diagnosed with IBS actually have SIBO as the underlying cause. SIBO is a real, testable, treatable medical condition that responds exceptionally well to the right dietary protocol. I am Monash University certified in the low-FODMAP diet, the gold standard for IBS and SIBO treatment, and have been specializing in this area for over two decades.
For weight management, my approach goes beyond calories and cardio. I address the underlying factors — hormonal changes, metabolic adaptation, gut health, and lifestyle patterns — that have made previous approaches unsuccessful.

What Every Program Includes
Every program is one-on-one and completely personalized. Clients receive weekly private sessions, access to a secure platform with meal ideas, recipes, low-FODMAP resources, and grocery shopping lists for Whole Foods and Sprouts. Two accountability levels are available, including daily food journal review.
