Kitchen Coach Sessions and Programs

Kitchen Coach is not about dieting; it’s a way of life. Sarah Mirkin, RD, CPT offers a practical approach to help individuals make permanent lifestyle changes to achieve their health and nutrition goals long term. Programs and sessions are specifically tailored to each individual with high accountability, close monitoring, coaching and guidance for superior results.

Kitchen Coach is unique because there are many levels of services offered to meet each individual’s specific needs. Programs are tailored for each individual based on their lifestyle, food preferences, health goals, and metabolic needs.  Programs include executive level, international, home and office programs, as well as combined nutrition and exercise programs.

Choose from several Kitchen Coach Programs including the 6 Week Starter Program, Two Month Get Fit Quick program, 4 Month Intensive Program, 12 Weeks to Success, and the 6 Month Makeover.

  • Anthem Insurance Plans Accepted.
  • Payment is due at the time of services.  Your insurance company may or may not cover nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian. If you would like to seek insurance reimbursement you will be given a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company or apply toward your flex spending account. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.
  • Cancellation Policy Individual appointments are scheduled for a specific time. You will be charged 100% for missed individual appointments unless cancellation is at least 24 hours in advance.

FOR THE BUSY EXECUTIVE TRAVELING INTERNATIONALLY… SARAH WILL WORK WITH YOUR HOTEL CHEFS AND PRIVATE CHEFS IN LOS ANGELES AND ABROAD TO CREATE MENUS AND ENSURE YOU ARE EATING IN A WAY THAT’S CONDUCIVE TO YOUR NUTRITION GOALS AT HOME AND ABROAD. MEALS AND SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED BASED ON YOUR METABOLIC NEEDS AND FOOD PREFERENCES SO THAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTH, BODY WEIGHT AND NUTRITION GOALS. SHE WILL ALSO REVIEW RESTAURANT MENUS AND COMMUNICATE WITH YOU VIA EMAIL WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BEST CHOICES.

Kitchen Coach Initial Session

Kitchen Coach Initial Session can be held at Sarah’s office in Beverly Hills, or your office* or home*. It is a 75- 90 minute comprehensive nutrition consultation. Sarah will review your current diet and provide education specifically tailored to meet your individual needs. A plan will be developed for you based on your schedule, lifestyle, food preferences, and nutrition goals. Body fat analysis and metabolic profiling performed. As your coach Sarah will start you off on the path to make permanent healthy lifestyle changes.

Kitchen Coach Advanced Nutrition Consultation and Meal Plan

Kitchen Coach Advanced Nutrition Consultation and Meal Plan is also a 75-90 minute session. Your metabolic needs, including your Basil Metabolic Rate (BMR) and Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) will be determined, as well as what your caloric intake should be to meet your weight management goals. You will be given a breakdown of how many grams of carbohydrates, protein and fat you should be eating to achieve your goals most effectively. A meal plan specifically tailored for you, based on your lifestyle, food preferences, and metabolic requirements is developed in this session. Body fat testing also included.

Kitchen Coach Follow-up session

Kitchen Coach Follow-up session will help you stay on track with your diet through ongoing support, guidance, accountability and encouragement! In a 45-60 minute nutrition follow-up consultation Sarah will review and evaluate your food records, discuss recommendations for change, answer any questions you may have, address your concerns and help you strategize to overcome problem areas.

Kitchen Coach Pantry Makeover

Kitchen Coach Pantry Makeover is perfect for a fresh start! Sarah will come to your home, review the contents of your pantry and refrigerator, and tell you what to keep, what to toss and what to stash out of sight. She will go through the products with you, review the food labels and product ingredient lists, so you understand how to keep your pantry healthy.

Kitchen Coach Grocery Shopping Tour

Kitchen Coach Grocery Shopping Tour will teach you how to shop like a pro! Sarah will take you on an isle by isle tour at the grocery or health food store of your choice and provide you with insightful tips and guidance on how to make the best food choices to meet your dietary goals and implement your meal plan.
